Zoo med eco earth substrate is made from compressed coconut fibres, which will expand to make up to 8 litres of substrate from just one brick. It is ideal for burrowing animals and is additive free making it suitable for hermit crabs.
 
By giving your reptile a substrate in his enclosure you will create a textured landscape for your reptile to explore and encourage his natural foraging behaviours.
 
The eco earth substrate is ideal for increasing humidity in egg laying chambers, enclosures, and shed boxes. It is important to keep your reptile's hiding cave moist during shedding time to help reduce stress.
