Komodo Woodland Moss

Komodo woodland moss comes in a handy tub which is easy to store. It is suitable for both cage decoration or to be used as a substrate, either dry or wet to create an interesting landscape for your reptile to explore.

 

Komodo's woodland moss can be used dry around your reptile's water dish to give them easy access to their water and create a "foothold" to prevent your reptile and his live foods from drowning.

 

The moss can also be moistened with a water spray to create a high humidity environment for reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates who like a moist enclosure. A humid environment is especially important for your reptile whilst they are shedding. Shedding can be a stressful time for your reptile and by ensuring their hiding cave is humid (by placing some moistened moss inside it) you can ensure that their shedding is as comfortable as possible. Komodo woodland moss can also be used in a wet box for egg hatching.
