Komodo Habitat Terrains

Komodo habitat terrains are a compact, expandable coir substrate, expanding up to seven times its dry volume.

 

When adding water the substrate will expand helping to create a humid environment within your reptile’s enclosure. It is made from compressed coconut fibre and therefore provides the structure needed for burrowing animals. By adding a substrate to your enclosure you will encourage your reptile to forage for food as he would naturally in the wild.

 

The substrate can aid shedding if used in a hide and kept moist with a water spray; poor humidity is the main reason for problems during shedding. We stock three sizes of Komodo habitat terrain; a compact brick, a value triple-brick pack and a large block so you wil find a suitable size for you reptile's enclosure.
