Zoo med forest floor bedding is made from red cypress mulch and is a completely natural choice of substrate for snakes, tropical tortoises, amphibians and other damp, woodland environments. It absorbs water and distributes moisture throughout the enclosure creating a humid environment. It’s natural texture encourages digging and burrowing behaviours.
 
Zoo med forest floor bedding is an economical choice as it can be soaked in warm water to thoroughly clean every two to three months.
