Locusts

Locusts are a favourite food amongst lizards as they are a chunkier, meatier morsel.They have high nutritional value as the locusts gut contains a high volume of vegetable matter from their natural diet. It is therefore important to your reptile’s health to feed your live-foods a good range of fruits and vegetables. It is also possible to dust the live-food with supplement powder to increase your lizard’s calcium and other mineral intake. A locust prepack will last for around a week and a super pack is around double the size. See below for size choices from young locusts to fully grown adults.
