Locusts are an ideal live-food for most lizards as they are a bigger insect. The gut of the locust contains a level of vegetable matter which will enrich your lizard’s diet.

You can also dust the live-foods with supplements to complete your reptile’s diet. Take care of locusts by giving them a source of water (try bug gels to prevent drowning in young locusts) and a varied diet of fruit and vegetables.
