Zoo Med Repticare Rock Heaters and Caves

Zoo Med has a wide selection of heat rocks and caves for your reptiles.

The caves are designed for geckos, small skinks, snakes, or anoles. You can find caves that provide your pet with shelter at around 4” x 6” x 3” high holes, which these types of designed for reptiles that are not bigger than 3.5 pounds.

The caves are designed to offer your pet a secure and heated hiding spot. Reptiles that come into new environments will find delight from this acclimating cave designed to ease his transitions while adding warmth and security. The heated caves have elements that project the heat downwards into the reptile’s cave. Heat goes up as well  at 12-watts.

The Zoo Med Rock Heaters are available in a variety of sizes below. These heating rocks are designed from hydrated rock materials, which makes them stronger than pumice or cement. The results of designing the rock heaters from hydrated rock materials has lead to the creation of an increase in durability and enhanced heat conductivity. The rock provides your reptile with complete coverage from its Nichrome heating elements that are capable of distributing 15W of heat evenly.

The rock heaters feature a powerful rheostat-controlling device, which allows you to adjust your pet’s surface temperature. The rock is ideal for snakes, geckos, bearded dragon lizards, and like species.
