Trap your own with insect catching products. There are a few reasons that might require you to use insect catching products.
For example you may have an insect that escaped the vivarium or escaped as you tried to dump them inside. It happens to many pet owners. Another reason you might want the catcher products is to spend less on reptile food. Sure, you can buy live insects, but why not catch your own? Children can spend hours finding food for their pet reptile. They get outside, exercise, and have fun all at the same time.
Whatever your reason for trapping insects there are three devices you should consider. They are all very convenient and easy to use.
The first option is the Bugstop Cricket Trap.
This device is a sandpaper tool in design with glue. The runaway bug will not get very far when you use the Bugstop Cricket Trap. The trap should be set near the vivarium doors where it is possible for the insects or crickets to escape. Also insects head for cool dry places, so you should set traps in these areas of your home. You can catch the crickets before they have a chance to get too far from the reptile enclosure. Unfortunately if you do not see the insects right away they will die. The trap is meant to stop them in their tracks. This nabbing device can be used in a home that has insects, even if you do not have a reptile. After all it is easier to trap them than find them and kill them when insects get inside.
The second type of device is insect friendly. The Bug Buddy Insect Catcher is a small, yet fun tool. This tool is used for catching insects you want to feed to your pet reptile. You will be able to catch one bug at a time to place in a jar or tank. You can hunt up your own food for your pet to give them alongside the pellets or dry food you offer. The catcher has a clear plastic lid that slides back to open the trap. The insect can be caught, the lid closed, and you can then dump the insect in a larger container.
Lastly for the insect catcher products you have the Bug Napper. The Bug Napper is a lot like the zapper. The zapper is a light that will zap the insect dead. The difference with the napper is that the insect is still alive. In fact the insects will be attracted to the container. They will be able to fly inside and then get stuck in a container below where they entered. It also catches insects like crickets that can crawl up the container to get inside. It is a clean method and can catch more than one bug. You simply unscrew the bottom container and feed your pet reptile.
No matter the product you wish to use, you can find it right here at reptile pet supplies. You can catch them or kill the insects.
